Good Vibrations
We all know how it is when we are 'picking up good vibrations,' when we meet someone, and they just seem to glow. Seeing them makes us smile, lifts our mood and well, the happiness just spreads into our soul.
Good vibrations, good energy, how do you get them?
If you think about it, everything in the universe is energy and all energy exists at various levels of frequency and, yes, you've guessed it, vibration. The lower the frequency, the denser and heavier the energy. In humans, a low level of energy can cause us to feel that our problems are insurmountable, we are miserable, low, we may even experience pain, confusion, depression, we can find that our thinking is 'fuzzy' and we can't get a grip on things.
However, the higher our vibrational frequency, the lighter we feel. Our body. mind and spirit feel free, we feel energised and on top of things. Life can seem thrilling, exciting, satisfying, and peaceful. Our bodies feel better too, we are more energetic, and this causes better blood flow and deeper breathing. This in turn can lead to the lessening of stress, along with other physical ailments such as aches. pains, high blood pressure and cardiovascular issues.
Interestingly, you will find yourself more open, open to receiving love, joy, clarity, and guidance. Your high energy responds to and meets the love around you and in you.
Sounds great
But how do you raise your vibration?
It's not that difficult.
Try these suggestions daily.
Meditate daily for at least fifteen minutes. (Find some meditation music on your phone, sit down, and chill out)

Listen to upbeat music.
Dance around the kitchen.
Smile, even if you don't want to smile.
Drink water (from the tap!) during the day. Top up frequently.
Exercise, get moving, outdoors is best if you manage it.
Keep a ' thank-you' journal. (Simple things, 'thank-you for stopping the downpour just before my walk' 'thank-you for a stress-free school run.')
Eat high vibrational foods: whole grains, seeds, raw nuts, fruit, vegetables, herbs. (A good granola with live yoghurt is an uncomplicated way to start the day)
Be in the present moment, enjoy each experience as it happens. (A robin in the garden, a butterfly nearby)
Do something you love doing, painting, singing, reading, and do it just because you love doing it.

Another way of raising your energy vibration is to open your 'third eye chakra.'
There are seven main chakras, which, aligned along the spine, are the centres of energy within the human body.
Each of the seven chakras correlates to the specific body issues and physical ailments, along with various mental and emotional strengths. They also resonate with a specific colour, and when you wear or hold that colour close, you can work with the related chakra.
In the middle of the eyebrows, in the centre of the forehead, lies the sixth, or 'third eye' chakra. The pineal gland, in the centre of the brain, and the pituitary gland work together to activate the energy of this chakra. The colour of this chakra is the spiritual colour of indigo.
If the sixth chakra is out of balance, we can suffer from headaches, blurred vision, sinus issues and eyestrain. Emotional issues can include moodiness, angry outbursts, and anxiety.
When it is balanced, we feel centred, clear minded and open to receiving insight and a higher wisdom, this is because the third eye chakra is also associated with intuition, creativity, inner knowledge, and perception.
This is the chakra most likely to help us to develop our spiritual awareness and well-being.
Cultivating silence, allowing creativity to blossom, daydreaming, are all ways we can bypass the rational, often fear-based, and non-stop chattering mind and allow space for the third eye abilities to unfurl and flow.
Spending time in meditation, picking up a pencil or paintbrush and practising free flow art or learning a new craft are all ways to loosen up and get energy running through your third eye chakra, and hopefully give you a good vibration.
